Description

Inspired by the boxy Aran but updated here, the Quadrille Pullover is a refined sweater worked in the round. With waist shaping and hourglass twisted stitches, the shapely hollow-oak cables reiterate the flattering waist shaping.



Finished Size: 33 1/4 (36 1/4, 39 1/4, 42 1/4, 46 ¾)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 33 1/4″, modeled with 1 ¾” of negative ease.
Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh DK (100% superwash merino wool; 225 yd [206 m]): cobalt, 4 (5, 5, 6, 7) skeins.
Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ and 29″ circulars (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); removable m; cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st; 23 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in Hourglass pattern; 15-st Hollow Oak chart = 2 ¾” wide.
