Description

Knit The Proverbial Cap in Meg Swansen’s sampler study. The twisted stitch knitting takes on simple twisted rib, twisted cables, double helix-like motifs, and elaborate lattice braids!

Finished Size: 20″ head circumferences. To fit a child or small adult.

Yarn: 1 skein Québécoise wool (100% wool; 210 yd [192 m]/100g) #92 natural, or about 2 ounces of wool from your stash.

Needles: 24″ circular needles; or a 16 ” cir and a set of double-pointed needles (dpn), of a size to yield gauge; #4 (3.5 mm)

Gauge: 23 sts to 4″, blocked, over pattern
