Use beaded wire to make this lovely holiday flower.

Description

Fun fact: This beautiful holiday flower is named for Joel R. Poinsett (1779-1851), the United States minister to Mexico from 1825 to 1829. And one of the most interesting things about the poinsettia is that the flowers are actually the tiny buds at the center of the array of red petal-like leaves.

Required Materials: Seed beads, beading wire, pin back, nylon cording, tacky glue, transparent tape. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: Wire cutters/straighteners, spool holder, scissors, bead spinner (optional), needle-nose pliers, toothpicks, ruler. See project for complete list.
Techniques Used: Wirework
