Specific Yarn Used:Berroco Weekend (75% acrylic, 25% cotton; 205 yd [187 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #5900 Daisy (white; A), 2 (3) skeins; #5926 Clothesline (light blue; B), 1 (2) skein(s); #5910 Cornsilk (yellow; C), 1 (2) skein(s); #5978 Orangesicle (orange; D), 1 skein.
Needles: Size U.S. 10 (6 mm): 24″ (60 cm) or longer circular knitting needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch marker; yarn needle.
Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette stitch.
Notes:

• Playful Stripes begins by casting on for the outer edge of the blanket in garter stitch.
