Memory wire is a hard steel wire that is permanently coiled and hence stays put around your finger, wrist, or neck sans clasp. One caution: It is so tough it will ruin your wire cutters, so invest in special memory-wire cutters (about $15) or buy a cheap pair of strong pliers from the hardware store.

Required Materials: flat sequins, lucite leaves, lucite flower, jump rings, head pin, memory wire. See project for complete list.

Tools Needed: Memory wire cutters, Flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers

Finished Size: 14″ (35.5 cm)

Techniques: Wireworking; stringing; opening and closing jump rings
