Description

This car coat with classic A-line shaping and mid-thigh length, is just right on the town or at the market. Th emerino-alpaca blend yarn is light as a feather, giving terrific warmth without bulk. Generous allowance means you can toss this coat on over a light jacket or sweater on colder days.

Finished Size: 42 (46, 50)” bust circumference. Garment shown measures 42″, modeled with 8″ ease.
Yarn: Tahki Dove (44% extrafine merino, 44% alpaca, 12% nylon; 163 yd [150 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #005 (pink), 17 (18, 19) balls.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Four 1 ¾” buttons; one ½” button; yarn needle.
Gauge: 14 ½ sts and 14 rows = 4″ in griddle st patt; 16 sc = 4″.
