A fine introduction to shaping pineapple lace, this hat is worked from the top down with pineapple increases and decreases. Post stitches highlight the pineapples for a hat with maximum texture, and the pom-pom adds the perfect final touch.

Finished Size: 14 (17, 20)” circumference, meant to be worn with 3–4″ negative ease. Shown in 17″ size.
Yarn: The Alpaca Yarn Company Snuggle (55% alpaca, 15% wool, 30% acrylic; 104 yd [95 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]; 6): #6040 snow berries, 1 (2, 2) skeins.
Hook: Size J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
Gauge: 10 sts and 5 rows = 4″ in dc.
