Description

The designer used purl stitches worked on a smooth stockinette background to create a floral damask pattern for her roomy shoulder bag.

Finished Size: 11″ wide, 17″ tall, and 5??” deep, excluding straps.
Yarn: Tahki Cotton Classic (100% cotton; 108 yd [99 m]/50 g): #3447 pink, 6 skeins.
Yarn weight: #3 – Light
Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rnds = 4″ in St st in the rnd.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 29″ circular (cir) and set of 4 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; 6″ x 9″ piece of cardboard (optional); 7″ x 10″ piece of fabric for lining bottom panel of bag; sharp sewing needle and thread.
