Description

Built out of overlapping short-row-curved segments, the Petal Halter grows both sideways and up. Six identical curved pieces cross and join like tulip petals. Olga Buraya-Kefelian uses a linen blend with a hint of metallic for structure and a little sparkle.

Finished Size: 27 (30, 34, 38, 42, 46)” bust circumference. Halter shown measures 30″, modeled with about 2″ negative ease.
Yarn: S. Charles Collezione Tigris (64% organic cotton, 28% linen, 8% metallic; 103 yd [94 m]/50 g): #4 petal pink, 5 (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) skeins. Yarn distributed by Tahki Stacy Charles.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): two 24″ circulars (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Removable markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st.
