Apparently the sixties are making a comeback! The style of these earrings originated in the 1960s in Peru. These earrings are all the rage today, and the best thing is, you can make them yourself!

Description

There are many variations of thread earrings, and Amanda followed the traditional teardrop shape. Feel free to use any shape or color that best fits your style! Amanda used a superfine 30-gauge colored copper wire that looks just like thread but still leaves these earrings lightweight and easy to wear! So go for it . . . take a time machine back to the 1960s.

Required Materials: (a) 16-gauge silver craft wire, 16″ (b) 18-gauge silver craft wire, 65″-70″ (c) 30-gauge colored craft wire, about 30′,
divided (d) Earwires.
Tools Needed: Coiling Gizmo or other wire coiler, round nose pliers, and flush cutters.
