This cuff is fast and easy to make. All you need is a butane torch, and some hammering and stamping tools.

Description

This cuff is fast and easy to make. All you need is a butane torch, and some hammering and stamping tools. Tiny metal stamps are perfect to personalize your piece with a name or special message. A note on the torch: Since you are drawing a ball on heavy-gauge wire, you’ll need to use a butane torch that has a larger flame so the wire will get hot enough to ball at each end. Or you can use a propane torch.

Finished Size: This will depend on the size of your wrist, but the measurement for the cuff is about 1/2″ – 2/3″ smaller than your wrist size.

Required Materials:

  • 12-gauge wire, approximately 6-7″ depending on size*
  • 2mm letter stamps, Star design stamp, and Period stamp

Tools: Chasing hammer, Bench block, Bracelet mandrel or bracelet bending pliers, Large flame butane torch or propane torch, Solder tweezers, Soldering surface (kiln brick or charcoal block), Heavy-duty flush cutters, Plastic or rawhide mallet, Liver of sulfur
