The Ovoid Bag is the perfect project for beginners! The easy pattern works up quickly and easily using a simple ovoid shape. Carry your summer essentials in your own handmade bag!

Finished size: 8″ wide, 8″ tall, and 1 1/2″ deep, excluding strap.

Yarn: Sugar Bush Yarns Cabot (70% Pima cotton, 30% linen; 291 yd [266 m]/31/2 oz [100 g]; ): #9011 mango (MC), 2 skeins; #9001 western white (CC), 1 skein.

Hook: Size E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary, to obtain correct gauge.

Notion: 1″ button, 1; safety pins; yarn needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 20 rows = 3″ in sc.
