Don’t be fooled by the specified small needle size – this one-piece garment in soft alpaca is simple and quick to knit! The lacy look is made by working a simple dropped-stitch pattern. After the appropriate stitches have been dropped, the stitch gauge is close to that of a worsted-weight yarn. The piece is worked horizontally from the right cuff across to the left. A bit of single crochet seams the sides and finishes off the neck and sleeve edges.

Finished Size: 36 (40, 44, 48)” (91.5 [101.5, 112, 122] cm) bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 36″ (91.5 cm).
Yarn: Lana Gatto New Alpaca (50% wool, 50% alpaca; 178 yd [163 m]/50 g): #4010 pale blue, 5 (6, 6, 7) balls. Yarn distributed by Needful Yarns.

Gauge: 22 ½ sts and 30 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in patt before dropping sts; 19 sts and 30 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in patt after dropping sts.
