Oceans and Rivers Bangles Project Download

Description

Work with faux custom river pebbles and beach glass made with polymer clay to avoid drilling holes in stone and glass. These beads glide along the hammer-textured bronze wire bangle, accompanied by tiny sterling silver wire-worked beads.

Required Materials:

• 14-gauge round bronze wire, 10″
• 21-gauge round sterling silver wire, 24″ cut into two 12″ lengths
• Polymer clay (Sculpey Premo! or similar), 8 grams translucent #5310, 10 grams Grey Granite #5065, and 1 gram Black #5042
• Alcohol ink (Adirondack by Ranger or similar), one or more drops of Citrus and Sail Boat Blue or similar colors
• 6mm-10mm accent beads with large holes, 8

Tools: Non-stick work surface, steel bench block or anvil, small hammer, jewelry file, round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, craft knife, ruler, circle cutter (3mm [1/8″] in diameter, such as a cocktail straw), cotton swab, toothpick, clay roller or pasta machine, craft oven, card stock cut to fit inside of craft oven, liver of sulfur (optional)
