Description

The Nome Pullover is inspired by the stormy winter weather of the Pacific Northwest. Cozy and classic, this handsome Aran pullover features saddle shoulders with cables that run from the cuff to the neckline. It is worked from the bottom up back and forth in pieces and then seamed.

Specific Yarn Used: Plymouth Yarn Galway Worsted (100% wool; 210 yd [192 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #767 dragon, 7 (8, 9, 9, 10) balls.
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm) and 8 (5 mm): straight. Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles. 18 sts of Chart A = 2¾ " wide. 31 sts of Chart B = 5½ " wide.
