Designer: Melissa Leapman

Difficulty: Intermediate

Finished Size: 35.5 (39.5, 42.5, 46,50.5, 54)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35.5"; modeled with 2" of positive ease.

Specific Yarn Used: Cascade Yarns 220 Sport(100% Peruvian Highland wool; 164 yd
[150 m]/1.75 oz [50 g]): #4002 jet (black; A), 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins; #9404 ruby (red; B) and #8010 natural (cream; C), 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) each; #8401 silver grey (light gray; D) and #8400 charcoal grey (dark gray; E), 1 skein each.

Needles: Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 22 sts and 24 rows = 4" in charted patt on larger needles.

Notes: This pullover is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. The charts are worked using the stranded method. Always pick up the background color over the pattern color and pick up the pattern color from under the background color; this will prevent tangling. Keep floats loose. For floats longer than four stitches, tack stranded yarn on wrong side of work. When working the chart, carry colors not in use loosely up the side as you go. Break and rejoin yarn(s) if color is needed on opposite side.
