Description

A lacy four-round motif is the heart of this cap-sleeved shrug. The motifs are linked together to create a light fabric both delicate and strong, like the wings of a moth. Triangles and half motifs give a gentle curve to the edges. A threadie’s dream, this cotton thread design is just right for summer evenings.

Finished Size 31 (33, 36, 39, 41, 44)” bust circumference. Shrug shown measures 33″, modeled with 1″ ease.
Yarn Nazli Gelin Garden (100% mercerized Egyptian giza cotton; 308 yd [282 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; ): #700-23 teal, 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4) balls. Yarn distributed by Universal Yarns.
Yarn Weight #1 – Super Fine
Hook Sizes 4 (2 mm), 2 (2.25 mm), or 1 (2.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge 2 – 2 motifs square = 4¼ ” with smallest hook, 4½ ” with medium hook, and 4¾ ” with largest hook.
