Description
The twining leaves on this cardigan mimic a wallpaper motif by William Morris.
Finished Size: 35 ½ (40 ½, 45 ½, 50 ½)” (90 [103, 115.5, 128.5] cm) bust/chest circumference, closed. Sweater shown measures 40 ½” (103 cm).
Yarn: GGH Merino Soft (100% merino; 212 yd [193 m]/50 g): #60 light olive and #44 dark olive, 3 (3, 4, 4) balls each; #7 light red, #39 dark red, #80 light yellow, and #41 dark yellow, 2 (2, 3, 3) balls each. Yarn distributed by Muench Yarns.
Yarn weight: #1 – Super Fine
Gauge: 28 ½ sts and 32 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in colorwork patt on larger needles.
Needles: Body and Sleeves—Size 3 (3.25 mm): 24″ (60-cm) circular (cir). Edging—Size 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
