Description

A pintucked yoke adds vintage detailing to the Modest Pullover. The pintucks are worked as slipped stitches, creating a series of fluted columns that stand out from the stockinette-stitch background. At the sleeve cap’s centered double decrease, they transform into a chevron graphic.



Finished Size: 32 1/2 (36 1/4, 40, 43 ¾, 47 1/2)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 32 1/2″, modeled with 2 1/2″ of negative ease.
Yarn: Schoppel Wolle Cashmere Queen (45% merino wool, 35% cashmere, 20% silk; 153 yd [140 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #6165 parsley, 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 16) balls. Yarn distributed by Skacel. #4 Medium
Needles: Neckband-size 3 (3.25 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Body and sleeves-sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): 32″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle.
