If you are looking for a dramatic show-stopper, this stunning titanium-coated drusy quartz is the gem for you — and why not create more drama with an accent of neon apatite?

Required Materials:

  • Midnight black drusy cap
  • 20 gauge sterling sheet
  • 1x4mm flat wire
  • 16 gauge sterling round wire; 6 inches
  • 4mm faceted apatite
  • 4mm gold tube set
  • Half drilled pearl
  • Pearl stem
  • 18K gold wire; 18 gauge
  • 18K solder; plumb gold
  • Hard, medium, and easy silver solder
  • 2-Part Epoxy (330 Epoxy)

Tools:
Hand and Fabrication: calipers; jeweler’s saw; #3/0 saw blades; BurLife lubricant, assorted needle files; #0, #2, #4 hand files; center punch; oval mandrel pliers (I use Wubbers extra large); planishing hammer; Fretz 412 texturing hammer; curved metal burnisher; thin Sharpie; CraftOptics Eyewear
Soldering: soldering surface, charcoal block, flux, flux brush, torch, pickle, copper tongs, quench water, solder pick, tweezers, solder sips
Finishing: Round mandrel, approx. 4-5 mm, 3M extra fine sanding sponge, flex shaft or Dremel, #55 drill bit, pumice and pink silicone wheels mounted on mandrels
Optional: light green 3M radial bristle disc (stacked 4 on a mandrel)
