Description

The Lowe Mittens, worked in a tight gauge reminiscent of traditional Scottish ganseys, feature a chevron motif cuff that fades to a simple brocade stripe.

Finished Size: 6 3/4 (7 1/4, 8)” hand circumference and 9 1/2 (10 1/2, 11 1/2)” long. Mittens shown measure 7 1/4″.

Yarn: Green Mountain Spinnery Weekend Wool (100% wool; 140 yd [128 m]/2 oz [58 g]): blue jay, 2 skeins.

Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gaug:e 24 sts and 36 rnds = 4″ in patt.
