Description

This easy vest is folded and sewn from one long strip of knitting. Texture is creating by using a variation of rib patterns and garter stitch. The vest can easily be made in any size.

Finished Size: To fit 34-36″ bust, sewn from a single strip 6 ¼” wide and 75″ long (see Notes about making other sizes).
Yarn: Cascade Eco+ (100% wool; 478 yd [435 m]/250 g): #8462 spruce, 1 skein.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 16 sts and 22 rows (11 ridges) = 4″ in garter st.
Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm) needles. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, safety pin, stitch holder.
