Little Devil Necklace Project Download

I recently saw a very cool necklace in a jewelry catalog. It had various sizes of chain linked together to fabulous effect. I must try that, I thought. When I saw Lisa Blackwells funky fine silver wing, skull, and key pendant and chain, I knew I had the right ingredients to make it happen.

Though the chain is the star of this piece, I needed something to connect the chain pieces with. The fun word beads “angel” and “devil” paired well with the heaven and hell symbols in the pendant. And, let’s face it, we all have a little good and evil battling inside us!

Required Materials: pressed-glass rounded rectangles, plastic word beads, silver wing/skull/key pendant, toggle clasp, fine silver chain, jump rings, sterling silver 22-gauge half-hard wire, Greek leather cord
Tools Needed: Wire cutters, Flat-nose pliers, Round-nose pliers

Finished Size: 18″ (45.5 cm)

Techniques: Wireworking; opening and closing jump rings
