Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran (distributed by LoveCrafts) (100% acrylic; 201 yd [184 m]/31/2 oz [100 g]; ): #236 dolphin blue (MC), 9 balls; #226 slate green (A), 8 balls; #221 daffodil (B), #200 paper white (C), #243 raspberry pink (D), #234 kingfisher blue (E), #253 blush pink (F), #227 racing green (G), 1 ball each; black, red, about 5 yd each.

Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary, to obtain correct gauge.

Notion: Yarn needle; fiberfill; black embroidery floss; sewing needle.

Gauge: 1 dc = 2 3/4″; water lily motif = 8 1/2″ in diameter; square = 4 1/4″; edge motif = 3 3/4″ deep and 81/2″ wide.
