This top is designed with a simple, elegant construction: Two identical sleeve pieces are sewn to a pointed bodice to form fluttering cap sleeves, a yoke, and an Empire waistline all at once. A ribbon tie at the back neck fine-tunes the drapey, floating fit.

Finished Size: 32 ½ (37 ½, 40, 45 ½, 50 ½)” bust circumference. Top shown measures 37 ½”, modeled with about 5″ positive ease at bustline.
Yarn: Louet Euroflax Sport Weight (100% linen; 135 yd [123 m]/50 g): #17 shamrock, 4 (5, 5, 6, 7) skeins.
Yarn weight: #2 – Fine
Gauge: 18 ½ sts and 28 rows = 4″ in English lace patt on larger needles.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; 1 yd 3/8″ wide satin ribbon; sewing needle and matching thread.
