A glass beetle, handmade by Margaret Zinser, inspired this botanic beauty. Attached to silk cording with loosely wrapped wire, leaves made of pressed glass and natural brass become the perfect environment for this beetle to climb. With such a powerful centerpiece, only small amounts of color interspersed in brass chain are needed to complete this stunning necklace.

Required Materials: Glass rounds, pressed-glass leaves, glass beetle, leaf connectors, rondelles, cable chain, wire, ilk cording. See project for complete list.


Tools Needed: Bead stop, Wire cutters, Chain-nose pliers, Flat-nose pliers, Round-nose pliers, Nylon-jaw pliers
