Rachel takes these socks in unconventional directions–the traveling stitch pattern begins at the top of one sock then leaps to the foot of the other. Finished Size: 7 (8)” (18 [20.5] cm) foot circumference and 9 (10)” (23 [25.5] cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 7″ (18 cm).
Yarn: Zwerger Garn Opal Uni Solid 4-ply (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 465 yd [425 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #5188 blau, 1 ball.
Needles: U.S. size 1½ (2.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 32 sts and 50 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in St st.
