The exaggerated shape of this beret, accentuated by a cinching horizontal cable brim, is reminiscent of hats depicted in medieval paintings

Description

The exaggerated shape of this beret, accentuated by a cinching horizontal cable brim, is reminiscent of hats depicted in medieval paintings. The designer decorated the body of the hat with a simple colorwork repeat, which is echoed on the ends of the cabled scarf. Both projects are worked in the round to ease the stranded colorwork. The tube scarf is blocked flat but has no wrong side.
