Kostbar Cowl Knitting Pattern Download

Create this knitted cowl by working in the round. Use it to add personality to an outfit or just as an extra layer of warmth.

Finished Size: 47″ circumference and 8.5″ tall.

Specific Yarn Used: Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100% merino wool; 210 yd [192 m]/3.5 oz [100 g]): #MM036 pearl, 2 skeins.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 32″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 17 sts and 28 rnds = 4″ in Lacy patt.

Notes: This cowl is worked in the round. After working Round 2 of the pattern, there will be two consecutive yarnovers (one at the end of Round 1 and the other at the beginning of Round 2). At the end of Round 2, knit into the front of the first yarnover, and at the beginning of Round 1, knit into the back of the second yarnover.
