Description

Make waves in this fascinating toque, created with varying-height stitches worked in the back bar. The wavy pattern is highlighted by a row of forward-loop bobbles.

Finished Size: 16 (18, 20)” circumference
and 7 (8 1/4 , 8 1/2 )” tall, unstretched. Hat is
stretchy and may be comfortably worn with
negative ease. Hat shown measures 16″.

Yarn: Anzula For Better or Worsted (80%
superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10%
nylon; 200 yd [182 m]/4 oz [114 g]; ):
paprika, 1 skein.

Hook: Sizes I/9 (5.5 mm) and H/8 (5 mm).
Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain
correct gauge

Notions: St marker (m); yarn needle.

Gauge: 16 sts and 14 rows = 4″ in back
bar hdc with larger hook.
