Kittery Point Cardigan Knitting Pattern Download

Description

Inspired by a vintage Fair Isle sweater, Donna Kay designed the Kittery Point Cardigan with subtle coloring and a relaxed silhouette.



Finished Size: 31 ¾ (35, 38 1/2, 41 ¾, 45, 48 1/4)” bust circumference, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 35″, modeled with 1″ of negative ease.
Yarn: Yarn Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% shetland wool; 115 yd [105 m]/ .88 oz [25 g]): #195 moorland (brown; MC), 9 (9, 10, 11, 13, 14) balls; #180 mist (gray; CC1), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) balls; #175 twilight (light blue; CC2), 1 (1, 2, 2, 3, 3) ball(s); #273 foxglove (maroon; CC3), 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) ball(s); #150 Atlantic (dark blue; CC4), 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) ball(s). Yarn distributed by Simply Shetland.
Needles: Body-size 2 (2.75 mm): 24″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Rib-size 1 (2.25 mm): 24″ cir and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; seven 1/2″ buttons.
Gauge: 29 sts and 38 rnds = 4″ in St st on larger needle; 29 sts and 36 rnds = 4″ in charted patt on larger needle.
