Keyhole Fringed Scarf Crochet Pattern Download

The unique construction of this scarf is fun for the crocheter and for the wearer. The fabric is crocheted to be a big keyhole for the fringe to thread through as it is worn around the neck. The bulky alpaca yarn makes this project soft and warm.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Pocket 7" (18 cm) wide by 16" (40.5 cm) long before seaming. Tassels measure about 44" (112 cm).
YARN
Aran weight (#4 Medium).
Specific Yarn Used: Blue Sky Alpacas Extra (55% alpaca, 45% merino, 218 yd
[199 m]/51/3 oz [150 g]): #3519 Fedora (A) and CB, #3521 Lake Ice (B), 1 hank each.
HOOK
Size I-9/5.5 mm hook. Adjust hook size if need to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS
Yarn needle.
GAUGE
15 sts and 18 rows in pattern = 4"(10 cm).
