This designer often finds the simplest combinations are the most elegant. Here, tussah silk melds beautifully with a simple mesh and Solomon’s Knot pattern in a swingy lightweight vest. Cap sleeves and a drawstring waist shape the simple garment. Comfortable and quick to crochet, this top looks more intricate than it really is.

Finished Size: 28 (33, 37, 43, 47, 52)” (71 [84, 94, 109, 119.5, 132] cm) bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 33″ (84 cm) bust and 23″ (58.5 cm) long from shoulder seam to bottom of edging.
Yarn: La Lana Wools Tussah Silk (100% silk; 118 yd [108 m]/2 oz [57 g]): indigo, 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 15 sts and 10 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in mesh st using larger hook.
Needles: Hooks: Size J/10 (6 mm) and G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
