Description

Janice began this project with the idea of making a sculptural pod rather than a two-dimensional pod. She started with three mandrel wires and wove back and forth from one to the other, coiling between each weave. Out of this attempt came the weaving/coiling process that makes up this lovely sculptural form. Add some pearls or gems and a pea pod is born!

Required Materials: Pea Pods, faceted rondelles, freshwater pearls, wire, ball chain with clasp. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: Round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, flush cutters, tape measure. See project for complete list.
