This lovely garden hat is worked in the round from the top down. Concealed wire creates a wide brim that will protect your face from the summer sun.

Finished Size Fits 20–22″ head circumference.
Yarn Nazli Gelin Garden 5 (distributed by Universal Yarn) (100% mercerized Egyptian Giza cotton): #500-69 light tan, 2 balls.?
Hook Size B/1 (2.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle; sewing needle and coordinating thread; 1″ diameter ponytail holder, 1; 1.35 polyester wire brimlock or nylon wire, 40″; 1 joiner for brimlock (optional); 3?16″ white satin ribbon, 50″ (optional).
Gauge Rnds 1–7 = 4″ in diameter.
Notes Hat is worked from crown down.
