Description

The Jacquard Mittens feature a deceptively simple, intriguing two-color Jacquard design. Twisted stitches on the cuffs create a stretchy ribbing that keeps the wind and snow out while providing a crisp appearance.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Finished Size: 7½ (9)” hand circumference and 8¾ (9¾)” long. Mittens shown measure 9″.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Company Lamb’s Pride Worsted (85% wool, 15% mohair; 190 yd [174 m]/4 oz [113 g]): #M07 sable (brown; MC) and #M08 wild oak (tan; CC), 1 skein each.
Needles Size: 8 (5 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 27 sts and 50 rnds = 4″ in charted patt.
