Description

These hip earrings may appear identical at first glance, but look closer. One of the silver ovals has a crosshatch pattern on it, while the other has a dotted pattern. Though the textures are different, the ovals are equally weighted-there are more dots on one, yet the patina has filled the crosshatch lines more on the other, making the pattern slightly darker. Admittedly, I had hoped to find two dotted ovals for these earrings, but, alas, I couldn’t find two that matched!

Materials: Oval charms, square charms, jump rings, ear wires. See project for complete list.


Tools Needed: 2 pairs of pliers


Techniques Used: Opening and closing jump rings


Finished Size: 1″ (2.5 cm)
