Description

A denim-y yarn, unfrilly lace pattern, and a small, flippy ruffle combine in an unusual knitted version of the jeans skirt.

Finished Size: 26 ¾ (29 ¾, 32, 35, 37 ¼)” waist circumference and 37 (40, 42 ¼, 45 ¼, 47 ½)” hip circumference, measured about 9″ below waist. Skirt shown measures 37″ at hip.
Yarn: Garnstudio Den-M-Nit (100% cotton; 100 yd [92 m]/50 g): #51 indigo-dyed cotton, 8 (9, 10, 11, 12) skeins. Yarn distributed by Aurora Yarns.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 21 sts and 27 rnds = 4″ in St st in the rnd, before washing; 21 sts and 30 rnds = 4″ in St st after washing. About 21 sts and 26 rnds = 4″ in lace patt, after blocking or washing.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 24″ and 29″ circulars (cir) and 2 double-pointed (dpn).
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; size F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook.
