Description

Use slip stitches and work in the round to create this beautiful knitted cowl. The unique pattern lends itself to just about any colorway.

Designer: Betty Chang

Difficulty: Easy

Finished Size: 22 " circumference and 8" tall.

Specific Yarn Used: Sublime Extra Fine Merino Worsted (100% merino wool; 109 yd [100 m]/1 oz [50 g]): #003 alabaster (cream; A) and #018 dusted grey (B), 1 ball each. Yarn distributed by Sirdar

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 18 sts and 34 rnds = 4" in sl st patt.

Notes: This cowl is worked in the round. Slip stitches purlwise with yarn in back. The sample used all of one skein of color A. Consider purchasing an extra skein as insurance.
