Description

For a high-style, vintage ski sweater feel. Knitted in a wool-alpaca-rayon blend, it provides an assuredly warm layer for the slopes or other cold-weather landscapes.

Finished Size: 36 ½ (39 ½, 42 ½, 45 ½, 48 ½, 52)” (92.5 [100.5, 108, 115.5, 123.5, 132] cm) bust/chest circumference. Sweater shown measures 36 ½” (92.5 cm).
Yarn: Classic Elite Follies (40% rayon, 35% alpaca, 25% wool; 70 yd [64 m]/50 g): #3472 blue (MC), 15 (15, 16, 17, 18, 19) balls; #3416 ivory, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) balls; #3402 lime and #3485 rust, 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) ball(s) each.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 21 sts and 23 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in colorwork patterns; 22 sts and 24 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in rib pattern; 24 sts and 26 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in branching cable rib pattern.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
