Description

This project started as an exercise with circular peyote stitch and grew into an exceptional amulet bag. Note how the circular peyote-stitched hexagons join with legs of flat peyote stitch to create an open lattice for the rich purple velvet to shine through.

Required Materials: Delicas, metallic triangles, seed beads, glass leaves with wire bales, spiral coins, rounds, ovals, teardrops, crimp tubes, beading thread, velvet, elastic, sewing thread, beading wire, fray check. See project for complete list.
