For a great three-seasons piece, look no farther than the Hederated Sweater. Knitted in a superwash Merino wool, this pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up to the V-neck. The entire body is then worked back and forth to the underarms, beginning and ending at the center-front neck. After that, the back and fronts are each worked separately back and forth. An allover lace pattern makes this pullover both cozy and breathable.

Specific Yarn Used: Mrs. Crosby Steamer Trunk (100% superwash Merino wool; 164 yd [150 m]/ 3 ½ oz [100 g]): Monkey Orchid, 6 (7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 13, 14, 14) skeins.

Needles: Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 24–32″ circular (cir), depending on size you are making, and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 24 rnds = 4″ in St st on larger needle; 20 sts and 25 rnds = 4″ in lace patt on larger needle.
