Description

Accentuate the natural features of found wood with pearls. The wood tells of histories and hints at aspects of the primitive environment. They are a part of the natural cycle and the pearls highlight their undulations and ornate subtleties.

Required Materials:

  • Found wood
  • Sterling silver wire and tubing
  • Spring Steel wire
  • Freshwater half-drilled 3 x 4.5mm pearls

Tools: Miter’s saw (or some variety of wood saw), safety goggles, variety of hand files, sandpaper 220-600 grit, variety of hand pliers, wire cutters, Bur Life, jeweler’s saw blades, jeweler’s saw frame, variety of drill bits; basic soldering setup, stainless steel t-pins, small paintbrush
