Description

This dress combines vintage inspiration from across the last century: a Victorian lace border here, a 1920’s lingerie silhouette there. Careful gores and borders separating panels and elements provide dressmaker definition.

Finished Size: 32 (34, 36 ½, 38 ½, 40 ½, 43)” bust circumference. Dress shown measures 32″, modeled with 1″ negative ease.
Yarn: RYC Silk Wool DK (50% wool, 50% silk; 109 yd [100 m]/50 g): #302 porcelain, 10 (11, 12, 12, 13, 14) balls. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): straight and 16″ circular (cir). Size 6 (4 mm): straight and 24″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles; 20 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in ladder rib st on larger needles.
