Golightly Tunic Crochet Pattern Download

Designer Kristin Omdahl was inspired by one of the black sheath dresses worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. A necklace inspired the bold geometric detail at the neckline. The tunic’s lower edge is considerably wider than the bust to ensure that it flows nicely around the hips. This tunic could easily be lengthened to an above-the-knee dress. The spiral neckline is worked in rows, then sewn together at the end.

Yarn: Filatura di Crosa Zara (100% superwash merino; 137 yd [125 m]/13?4 oz [50 g]; ): #1404 black (A), 6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10) balls; #396 off-white (B) and #1740 deep violet (C), 1 ball each. Yarn distributed by Tahki Stacy Charles.
Yarn weight: #3 – Light.
Gauge: 16 sts and 7 rows = 4″ in st patt after blocking.
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
