A simple vine lace pattern wraps its way around the body of the Gloaming Wrap Sweater. The sweater is worked in rows from the bottom up, with short-row shaping at the lower-front edge. Knitted ties are added to each front, and a small side slit is left open to thread one tie through.

Specific Yarn Used: Green Mountain Spinnery Sylvan Spirit (50% fine American wool, 50% Tencel; 180 yd [165 m]/2 oz [58 g]): #8694 Agate, 8 (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17) skeins.

Needles: Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle.
