This is a very simple design to knit. Experiment with your own color combinations-add in more colors if you are feeling adventurous. This design can fit from 3 months old up to 18 months old. Its soft material makes for a comfortable and cute jacket.

Finished Size: For 3 months old, finished length is 9 ½” (24 cm) and its chest circumference is 16″ (40.5 cm). For 18 months old, finished length is 11 ¾”” (30 cm) and its chest circumference is 22″ (56 cm).
Yarn: Vreseis Fox Fibre Cotton (100%
Colorganic cotton)
Yarn Weight: 840 yd [768 m/1 lb], white (MC) and brown (CC), less than 1 cone each. Sweater
shown measures 24″ (61 cm).
Needles: Sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4 mm): straight.
Notions: Stitch holders; tapestry needle; five 5/8″ (1.5-cm) buttons, shown here in mother-of-pearl.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st on larger needles.
