Description

This cardigan is worked back and forth in pieces and seamed making it a great project for intermediate knitters. The wool yarn used adds a layer of warmth for a cute, layer able cardigan that goes with just about anything. Dress it up or down for the perfect winter look.

Finished size: 223/4 (25 1/4, 26 3/4, 29 1/4, 30 3/4, 33 1/4)” back width at underarm. Cardi-gan shown measures 22 3/4″ on model with 31″ bust.

Specific yarn used: Kelbourne Woolens Scout (100% wool; 274 yd [251 m]/31/2 oz [100 g]): #614 Scarlet Heather, 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6) skeins.

Needles: Sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 21 sts and 31 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles.
