Description

The yoke of this tee is worked from side to side, in one piece with the sleeves, in reverse stockinette stitch. The sleeve seams are joined, stitches for the body are picked up from the yoke edge and underarm, and work for the body continues in the round. It is easy to play with this design to suit your needs: this tee could be lengthened to make a lovely tunic.

Specific Yarn Used: Bergère de France Ecoton (48% recycled acrylic, 48% recycled cotton, 4% other recycled fibers; 142 yd [130 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #28919 ozone, 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) balls.

Needles: Body and yoke—size 4 (3.5 mm): 24" circular (cir) and set of double pointed (dpn). Neckband—size 3 (3.25 mm): 16" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 22 sts and 31 rnds = 4" in St st on larger needle.
