This cozy blanket is mainly made up of tunisian crochet, producing a wonderfully textured fabric that is still light and airy. The cute froggie appliquè can be crocheted easily with the included instructions and stitch diagram and adds a touch of whimsy to this useful piece.

Finished Size: 28″ x 37″ (71 x 94 cm).
Yarn: Worsted weight (#4 Medium). Shown: Red Heart, Eco-Ways (70% acrylic, 30% recycled polyester; 186 yd [170 m]/4 oz [113 g]): #3518 peacock (MC), 3 balls; #3422 yam (CC1), 2 balls; #1615 lichen (CC2), 1 ball.
Hook: K/10.5 (6.5 mm) afghan hook, I/9 (5.5 mm), and H/8 (5.00 mm) or hooks needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends; spray bottle with water and straight pins for blocking; 3/8″ (1cm) button.
Gauge: 5 sh by 10 rows (5 SR by 5 RR) = 4″ x 3.75″ (10 x 9.5 cm) in Ocean Stitch Pattern (osp) with K/10.5 (6.5 mm) hook.
